Cayan Group developed The Jewels in collaboration with Palma Holding, with architecture by RMJM and Hazel Wong. Construction began in 2005 and the development was completed and handed over in 2007. The project comprises two residential towers, each rising 20 storeys, connected by a shared podium.
The development is freehold and includes residential and retail components. Cayan describes the project as a twin residential waterfront tower development, with one, two and three-bedroom apartments, lofts, penthouses and villas.
Property Types and Features
The Jewels offers one, two and three-bedroom apartments, with larger duplexes, lofts, penthouses and villas providing options at the upper end of the market. The standard apartments are considerably more spacious than many typical Dubai Marina residences. One-bedroom layouts are generally around 1,000 sq. ft., while two-bedroom residences can exceed 2,000 sq. ft. and three-bedroom apartments can extend beyond 3,300 sq. ft.
The larger three-bedroom configurations include multiple en-suite bedrooms, maid's accommodation and generous living areas, while selected residences have two balconies providing separate marina and sea views. The development also includes exceptionally large penthouses, with some residences extending to around 7,400 sq. ft. and featuring private pools and gyms.
Interiors feature fully equipped kitchens, marble and porcelain finishes, built-in storage and smart-home automation. Cayan's original specifications also included en-suite bathrooms with Jacuzzis in the master suites and integrated security and maintenance systems.
Location and Accessibility
The Jewels occupies a prime waterfront position in Dubai Marina, directly adjacent to the marina promenade and close to the yacht club and boat harbour. Its location provides convenient access to Marina Walk, JBR Beach, Dubai Marina Mall and the wider collection of restaurants, cafés and leisure destinations surrounding the marina.
The development is also well connected to Sheikh Zayed Road, making it easy to travel to Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Media City, Downtown Dubai, and other parts of the city. JBR 2 Tram Station and nearby bus stops provide public transport connections, while DMCC and Sobha Realty Metro Stations are accessible by road.
