The tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa has now become synonymous with the image of Dubai worldwide. Influenced by a desert flower, the building is the centre of the city’s Downtown skyline and has received several accolades and is known as a serial record-breaking tower. Located on the 122nd, 123rd and 124th floor, is the At.mosphere restaurant, sky lobby as well as an indoor and outdoor observation deck. The Burj Khalifa currently holds more than seven records worldwide. It’s hard to come up with a residence as exclusive as this in Dubai. Surrounded by the Dubai Fountain, the tower also features a promenade with attractive greenery powered by the Burj Khalifa’s Condensate Collection System. The locality is also home to a promenade and the delightful Dubai fountain.

Construction of the Burj Khalifa commenced in January 2004, and the building was officially completed and opened by January 2009.

What is inside the Burj Khalifa?

At the base of the Burj Khalifa, you have the Armani Hotel & Residences up to level 39, followed by the residences from the floors 19-108. Above the residential units, there is a beautiful restaurant called Atmosphere on the 122nd level. Between the levels of 112-154, there are corporate suites and offices. At level 148, there is At the Top Burj Khalifa Sky, which is the highest outdoor observatory in the world. Finally between levels 152-154, there is the world's highest lounge at 585 metres.

How was the Burj Khalifa built?

Designed by  Adrian Smith, of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, Burj Khalifa began construction in 2004 and was completed by 2009. The primary structure is reinforced concrete and structural steel. The structure also features a cladding system which is designed to withstand Dubai's hot summer temperatures. It contains a total of 57 elevators and 8 escalators and stands 828m tall. The design is derived from the Islamic architecture of the region.
