Solera

Solera is a contemporary residential development by RAK Properties on Raha Island in the emerging Downtown Mina district of Ras Al Khaimah. Launched in 2025, the project represents the first residential community within the new downtown district and introduces a more urban, social character to RAK Properties' wider Mina destination. The development comprises 451 residences across three architecturally distinct buildings connected by a shared podium.

The residential collection includes studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, along with larger penthouses. Current RAK Properties information lists residences ranging from approximately 351 to 3,264 sq. ft., providing options from compact city-oriented homes to more expansive residences. The project features contemporary layouts, balconies, and a connection to the surrounding urban environment, with penthouses offering elevated living spaces and city views.

Solera's amenities support a more active, social lifestyle. The development features a 40-metre infinity-edge lap pool, a children's pool with splash pad, jacuzzi, outdoor gym and yoga pavilion, sculptural garden, hammock garden and skateboard park. The Solera Flame Pavilion provides an outdoor setting for BBQs, dining and gatherings, while Telescope Corner offers a dedicated space for residents to enjoy views of the surrounding landscape.

The development also responds to the needs of residents working remotely or running their own businesses. The NOOK provides a dedicated co-working and social lounge where residents can work, meet and connect without leaving the community. This emphasis on flexible working and informal social spaces supports the project's positioning for younger residents, entrepreneurs, and work-from-anywhere professionals.

Solera is positioned within the planned Downtown Mina district, where six residential communities are planned around retail, F&B destinations, landscaped parks, covered walkways and community spaces. The location on Raha Island also places residents close to Mina's wider waterfront attractions, including Mina Harbour, while the surrounding district is being developed as a more walkable urban centre within the wider Mina masterplan.

Construction is progressing towards a planned Q2 2028 completion, according to the current RAK Properties project page.
