Residents of the Meadows have it all at their doorstep; from scenic lake views and playgrounds for kids to a plethora of eateries, all within the complex. Each Meadows development has a security gate to enter through and security guards are always taking rounds to ensure a safe and friendly neighbourhood for the residents. Maintenance is always top-notch and efficient, while all the areas within the district are well cared for. There are a number of schools and nurseries within Meadows and close by, making the area very convenient for parents. A well-established development with a refreshing community feel, free of traffic jams and a favourite amongst expat residents.

The Meadows is a residential area that actively promotes a healthy, outdoor lifestyle, providing access to great sports and recreational facilities, while maintaining a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. A district that offers everything needed for day-to-day living within close proximity; each residential cluster has its own lake with verdant, carefully landscaped public open spaces. Not to mention the pleasant lakes that are home to a plethora of public walkways for all. There is a beautifully constructed mosque in the area and a conveniently placed petrol station with 24-hour fast food outlets.

First class shopping and leisure facilities are available in the vicinity; the area has two well-served community centers that host convenience stores, shops, cafes and restaurants, salons, nurseries, clinics, and gyms and sporting facilities that include tennis and squash courts. The Meadows Village Center is home to a Spinney's and The Hayya Health Club, along with a few quick bites, cafes, and retail outlets. Additionally, The Community Center houses another Spinneys and a gourmet cafe and retail outlet that exports worldwide exclusive organic goods, called Milk & Honey, as well as banks and other necessities. 

The Hayya health club, connected to the Meadows  has a gym (with a separate ladies’ gym) and a swimming pool with lanes and a sports hall. For golfing enthusiasts there’s an opportunity to join the neighbouring Montgomerie Golf Club, with its 18-hole championship course, restaurant and spa.

The nearest metro station is not within walking distance of the Meadows, although just a short drive away. Designated public buses can be caught quite often, but because buses are the only public transport available, they can get stuffy. Taxis arrive on request, just a phone call away. However, close proximity to many of the landmarks in Dubai make The Meadows an ideal location for the inhabitants who don't rely on public transport. Furthermore, the dining scene in the area is considered quite casual; fine-dining needs to be enjoyed elsewhere, but there are many top-notch options within other developments of Emirates Living. Similarly, nightlife is not indulged in within the area since it is considered a very family-centric community; however, Reform Social and Grill seems to be a favourite haunt amongst residents.

The community is too family oriented to be a favourable location for singles.
