HSBC Private Bank EXCLUSIVE Reception at NURAI ISLAND

On the 4th of November 2010, top art professionals, collectors, artists and connoisseurs of the international, regional and local art world gathered in Abu Dhabi for the official opening of The second edition of Abu Dhabi Art, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nayan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. Organized by TDIC and ADACH, and principal-sponsored by HSBC Bank Middle East, this unique platform for regional and international art brings together the art world’s most influential names right to the heart of the UAE’s capital city.

On the same night, HSBC Bank Middle East Limited, in collaboration with MEEM Art Gallery and Luxhabitat, held a private and exclusive reception at Nurai Island for a very select set of its regional and international top-50 Private Banking clients. A number of paintings and artworks by artist Dia Azzawi, and bronze sculptures by artist Parviz Tanavoli, were showcased within Nurai’s show home in support of the event, and with both artists present that evening to discuss their works.

The event attracted some of the most influential art patrons and players from HSBC’s Private Banking clients and was a successful intimate introduction to the dialogue created between the art world, and the lifestyle offering that Abu Dhabi presents through such projects as Nurai Island

Set against the backdrop of Saadiyat Cultural District, which will feature pioneering new museums Zayed National Museum, Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and Louvre Abu Dhabi; residents of Nurai will be just minutes away from all emerging business, cultural and entertainment opportunities in years to come.
