Rejoice, selfie enthusiasts as the first-ever selfie museum, The Selfie Kingdom (TSK) has recently opened its door for the first time in Dubai. Located close to the Expo 2020 site in Motor City, the museum is a paradise for those who like taking selfies against lovely backdrops. It hosts 15-pop up rooms that feature different themes, vibrant backdrops, props and proper lighting so as to offer the visitors with an experience worth remembrance. The interactive space inspires creativity, art and design and also promote digital content.
The backdrops on offer include Insta-friendly unicorns, cherry blossoms, and angel wings.
The pop rooms will be remodelled every few months in order to offer a refreshing and interesting experience. The Selfie Kingdom is also set to feature exhibits from a range of artists, designers and innovators.
The project is a brainchild of Rania Naffa, chief happiness officer and its founder. She wanted to create a fun and interactive place that can be enjoyed by people of all ages who will be able to capture happy moments. According to Rania, "The Selfie Kingdom contributes to the spirit of the UAE. TSK provides an interactive photo-friendly social space that promotes art, creativity and a place for our guests to express themselves freely and have fun while doing it. We want everyone to be part of this entertaining experience and create some amazing memories."
The museum also offers a creative co-working space and also a venue that can be used to host private parties and events.
