Al Ghadeer Parks

Al Ghadeer Parks is a residential development by Aldar Properties within the wider Al Ghadeer community in Abu Dhabi. The development is located in Seih Al Sedirah, close to the Abu Dhabi–Dubai border, in a residential area designed for access to both emirates.

The wider Al Ghadeer community is an established, self-contained residential destination developed by Aldar. The community includes a mix of villas, maisonettes, and townhouses, alongside schools, public gardens, swimming pools, sports areas, and community centres. Its position between Abu Dhabi and Dubai makes it particularly relevant to residents who need regular access to destinations in both emirates.

Green spaces are an important part of Al Ghadeer's existing community environment. Aldar lists gardens and parks, lakes, running and cycling tracks, multi-use sports areas and camping and BBQ sites among the facilities available within the wider community.

The community also provides a range of everyday recreational facilities. These include swimming pools, children's play areas, gyms, clubhouses, landscaped gardens, sports courts, cafés, walkways and cycleways. The existing community facilities are shared across different residential areas, so they should not automatically be considered amenities belonging exclusively to Al Ghadeer Parks.

Al Ghadeer's location is one of its main advantages. The community sits along the Abu Dhabi–Dubai border, providing road access to destinations in both emirates. Recent Aldar developments in the wider community have highlighted proximity to Expo City Dubai, Dubai Parks and Resorts, Al Maktoum International Airport, Yas Island, Zayed International Airport and Abu Dhabi city.

Further residential development is also underway in Al Ghadeer. In May 2026, Aldar launched Al Ghadeer Gardens, a separate residential development of 437 villas and townhouses. Aldar subsequently announced that the project had sold out at launch and that a second phase would be brought forward in response to buyer demand. These developments reinforce the continued expansion of the wider Al Ghadeer community, but their specifications should not be attributed to Al Ghadeer Parks.
