About Fahid Beach Residences

Fahid Beach Residences is the first residential project on Fahid Island, Aldar’s coastal community between Yas Island and Saadiyat Island. Designed by Japanese-Australian architect Koichi Takada, the project has seven beachfront buildings with a low-rise profile. Homes and shared spaces face the Gulf, with large openings, terraces and broad sea views. The island plan includes 30% natural space, landscaped areas, beaches and mangrove edges. This gives the residences a clear link to outdoor spaces and the coast.

The development sits on the shoreline of Fahid Island, between Yas Island and Saadiyat Island. Its position gives residents access to leisure, cultural and retail destinations across Abu Dhabi. Yas Island is close by, while Saadiyat Island provides access to Louvre Abu Dhabi, Saadiyat Beach and its wider cultural district.

Fahid Beach Residences offers one to four-bedroom apartments, two-bedroom duplexes, one and two-bedroom townhouses and five-bedroom penthouses. The homes are designed around the waterfront setting, with natural light, outdoor space and sea views. Residents also have access to private beach areas, pools, fitness facilities and concierge services.

The project is planned as a connected coastal development with pedestrian paths, shaded walkways, cycling routes and bridges. A 10 km Berm Park and footpaths will support walking and cycling. Road links connect the island with Yas and Saadiyat, while Abu Dhabi International Airport is also within easy reach. The wider masterplan includes healthcare and education. Retail, cafes, restaurants, sports facilities and community spaces add daily convenience. The island is the world’s first Fitwel-certified island and has LEED Platinum pre-certification.

Fahid Beach Residences combines beachfront homes with Aldar’s larger wellness-led island plan. Its location, direct coastal setting, planned education and healthcare, and focus on green space make it a notable new residential address in Abu Dhabi. With handover targeted for 2029, the project remains part of Abu Dhabi’s premium waterfront pipeline.
