The Opus in Business Bay

Developed by the most artistic thinkers, artists and visionaries, The Opus is one of the most iconic developments in the Burj Khalifa district in Business Bay. The project has been designed by award-winning architect Dame Zaha Hadid. The development is home to the ME Hotel, which is managed by the Melia group of hotels. It additionally hosts a limited collection of luxury serviced residences with furniture and fittings picked exclusively by Hadid. Designed as futuristic development, the cube structure features a curvilinear void that is flooded with light at night. The architectural wonder features an organic void at its center. The project comprises of two glass towers, joined by a steel and glass bridge. This creates a striking gap in the center of the building. The towers are linked by a four-storey atrium at the ground level and by a three-story bridge which is 38-metres wide and 71-metres above the ground.

Zaha Hadid is an acclaimed architect with progressive designs that push the boundaries of architecture and urban design. Her recent projects include 1000 Museum Tower in Miami, Al Wakrah Stadium in Qatar and the Tokyo Olympic Stadium. She has also designed a futuristic £300 million superyachts for German shipbuilders Blohm+Voss. Additionally, she is a winner of the 2004 Pritzker Architecture Prize.

The views from the hotel span the Burj Khalifa, Mohammed Bin Rashid City and the creek. It also hosts penthouse apartments with a private rooftop garden, keeping you close to nature, yet burgeoning into the future. Facilities include a temperature-controlled swimming pool, gymnasium, world-class spa, 24 hours security, valet and concierge service.

Besides a luxury housing development, the project dedicates a space of 200,000 square feet for food and entertainment which will host various fine dining options and an exclusive club. The development will provide private access to the residents, ensuring safety and security at all times.
