Dubai witnesses hot climate during the majority of its months. The prices of tickets and hotels are way more affordable during the summers. During such a climate, it gets difficult for tourists to venture into outdoor activities and have to mostly spend their time during activities that are hosted indoors. 

But if you want to enjoy the warmth of the beach, you can choose the month of April, May and September would be ideal. A shopping extravaganza of Dubai Summer Surprise is held in the months of June, July and August. If you are keen on shopping and want to enjoy a range of family-centric indoor activities, you can plan a visit during this time of the year as well.

However, the best time to visit Dubai without any doubt is during the winter months, which between the months of November and March. It is during this time that you will be able to witness the beauty of the city at its best. 

It is the best time of the year to enjoy a range of outdoor activities, fun-filled events and the eye-catching shopping options. During these months, Dubai witnesses cool weather and comparatively lower temperature than other times of the year. Contrary to what most of the people, Dubai is not just about shopping malls but offers a range of outdoor activities that include desert activities, beach activities, to name a few.

You can choose to stay in one of the beachfront communities like Jumeirah, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Bluewaters Island and Palm Jumeirah so as to enjoy the beachy lifestyle that the city offers. If you are not a beach person, you can consider staying in one of the vibrant communities like Downtown Dubai, Dubai International Financial Centre or Business Bay, all of which will offer you close proximity to the iconic Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall and Dubai Fountains.

It is also during the winter season that Dubai hosts the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF). Held during the months of January and February, the festival helps you avail great discounts and offers on your favourites brands. Other attractions during this season include live concerts by international artists, fireworks display and the renowned shopping and entertainment destination of Global Village.

Though winter is the ideal time to visit Dubai, you should keep in mind that the prices of tickets and that of hotels tend to get quite high. Booking well in advance will help you get your hands on good rates.
