LW Design Group creates a waterside family home on the Palm Jumeirah

A waterside family home on the Palm Jumeirah, KJ Villa has been conceived to maximize the potential of its location whilst providing a clean free family environment by LW Design.The house is entered through an exquisitely detailed layered stone screened facade where a double storey entrance foyer leads to the formal living area that enjoys views over the sea. In keeping with the owners brief the ground floor accommodation provides free flowing space with ambiguous divisions of functionality.
Layered architectural stone facades with bronze elegant louvers provide a sense of privacy to the villa from the street whilst the beach side expansive glazing and terraces exploit the interior/outdoor beach side living.
The formal living and family areas; formal lounge, dining and expansive kitchen, interlink with moveable floor to ceiling timber walls. The pool terrace is conceived as an extension of the living areas accessed via full height glazed sliding panels. A roof top gym and wellness areas and a rooftop pool to enjoy the panoramic views are located at the second level.
The seamless nature of the house is reinforced by a careful selection of materials of cool white travertine floors, walnut timber and white walls that accommodate the family’s artwork collections.
