From palatial mansions to dreamy penthouses, here is a round-up of the five most popular homes & favourite listings that our community has chosen as favourites over the year and that are still on the market.

1. Volante Penthouse

Our most popular listing and a favourite among many, this Volante penthouse has awe-inspiring views and strong design gravitas. It's hard to pick a favourite space, considering this penthouse spans over four floors, but highlights include the incredible view of the Downtown Dubai skyline over the water and the two-level rooftop terrace with its own private lap pool.

2. Villa Blackrock

  • Emaar Beachfront AED 2,690,000
    • Apartment

It's not a surprise that many members of our community like and follow Villa BlackRock. Designed from scratch by Italian starchitect Frederico Spagnulo, the home includes Italian marble and tiling, Swedish wood flooring, Belgium fireplaces, and carpeting, American veneered panelling, a large bespoke English lawyer desk, a German/Swiss spa, American/German kitchen appliances, a UK indoor speaker system, a Canadian outdoor speaker system, a gun-metal crystal drop chandelier and a bespoke spiral staircase by an accomplished Iranian artisan with works in the Guggenheim museum in NY. This villa was also featured in our Open House.

Undoubtedly impressive and spectacular in terms of grandeur, this Emirates Hills villa stands as one of our most expensive listings. Designed by the famous Miami architect Kobi Karp, the villa has an exclusive custom-finish that was further complemented by the expert talents of PIA Interior, the top tier firm from Thailand. Right from the foyer, you will be graced by a gorgeous 50-year old Bonsai tree at the entrance with delicate 8m Preciosa butterflies and hand blown spheres lighting cascading down, creating a 'wow' effect.

The villa comes with a gourmet custom-made Finasi Italian kitchen that is fitted with Miele and Siemens appliances and a Klafs sauna and steam room and a Special Dolby Atmos private cinema designed by the VOX experts with floor to ceiling screen, 14 motorised seats, and a DCI-compliant projection system.
