How coffee tables can just take centerstage in your space

Among all the pieces in a living room or even outdoors, the humble coffee table can just change things up immediately and spruce up the entire room. These two coffee tables by Grass it up are at an affordable price point and are attractive enough to be noticed.

The idiom “Gather round the coffee table” is derived from the furniture piece and its proclivity for encouraging conviviality and light conversation. As a more formal coffee table, this would be perfect in almost any kind of space.

You use a desk to work on, you use a dining table or cafe table to eat on, but a coffee table is an object you just put things on, which is why its design can take a more interesting shape. A coffee table should be used wisely, as it is one of the most important elements of living room furniture and a coffee table often becomes one of the key features of living room design.

The books that you put on your coffee tables also matter the most. Choose a good mix of bestsellers such as ‘The little book of Hygge’ combined with those that match your personality. In interior design, we call this the ‘final dressing’ which helps your house become a home. No matter how perfectly you furnish your living room, without a coffee table, the décor will not be truly complete. Coffee tables play an important role in setting a design, in creating an atmosphere, and in leaving an impression that lasts.
