The Anantara spa is located right opposite the main lobby and hosts Salalah’s first hammam. It also hosts razul treatment rooms. This spa plays homage to both Arabian and the classically Anantara spa rituals. The resort also hosts some really interesting restaurants. Al Mina, a mediterranean themed bar hosts some really interesting cocktails as well as a delicious spiced hammour. Mekong, the Asian restaurant serves up some interesting dishes from Thailand, Vietnam and China. If you’re interested in exploring how to make culinary fare, the resort offers both Thai and Arabic cooking classes called ‘Spice Spoons’. Bring out your inner mixologist by exploring the mixology cocktail classes on offer.

Just a stroll away, the Al Baleed Archaeological Park invites you to step back in time. Visitors have the opportunity to explore a UNESCO World Heritage site that proves to be exciting and informative at every turn. You can also explore the wadis lush with wildlife and arouse their senses in the Museum of Frankincense, all led by a ‘Salalah Guru’ acting as your guide. For those that enjoy water sports and diving, they also have plenty of options and a dive centre available.
