"The need for a spacious backyard was the primary reason that brought us to Al Barari. We were also looking out for a secluded place that features greenery and is away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We found Al Barari perfectly fitting our requirements," says Julia Marie Castro, an American entrepreneur, based in Dubai. "As I have 2 pet dogs, I wanted a home where my pets can roam freely. The backyard that my home features offer ample space for my dogs. Also, the fact of Al Barari being a pet-friendly community, hugely influenced my decision to buy a home in the community," added the entrepreneur.
Speaking about what she loved the most about Al Barari, Julia says, "I love the greenery that surrounds my home. I am also fond of the tranquil environment, away from the hustle and bustle of the city."
"The Heart & Soul Spa is located within close proximity to my home and caters to my everyday need. It features a soothing and relaxing environment amidst the greenery, the spa offers several traditional and innovative treatments to bring balance and wile away all the stress. The Mediterranean-inspired space is replete with warm wood and natural stone elements. It hosts separate sections for men and women, exclusive treatment rooms, private suites, a dedicated children’s space, designated nail and hair care section, and an infrared sauna, hammam and steam room."
"In terms of public transportation and amenities, I would say it is not extremely convenient as the area is underdeveloped. It is, however, bearable since it has at least 1 or 2 of each amenity in the area. There are also no entertainment options near the area at all. The nearest is Mall of the Emirates which is 25 mins away."
When asked whether there are any disadvantages about living in Al Barari, Julia replied, "The biggest disadvantage was that the construction takes too long. The plants in the common area and the golf course are still under construction which looks bad for some parts of Barari, but the parts that are finished look nice."
