In this edition of 'The Escape', we take a walk through Stamba Hotel in our UAE residents' favourite getaway spot - Tbilisi, Georgia. Located a short 3.5 hours away, Tbilisi is a vibrant city, filled with some true hidden gems. The Stamba Hotel in particular, is a great amalgamation of these features.

With an industrial feel and vibrant colors, the Stamba Hotel in Tbilisi, Georgia is a must-stay while you are in the city. Set between traditional and modern, the former 20th century Soviet-era printing house turned hotel has been refurbished, giving it a vintage feel, yet carrying a modern feel.

The entire hotel has a Brutalist framework, drawing influences from the 1920s and 1930s, carrying vintage glamor, but elevated due to the contemporary touches throughout the hotel. The history of the pace has been retained due to its book collection.

It has an in-house chocolatier and roastery, drawing in many crowds rushing in to try coffee and artisanal chocolate pairings. The cocoa beans are imported from Venezuela, Madagascar, Peru, and Colombia.
