Custom No.9 unveils its latest furniture collection

Evoking a sense of nostalgia reminiscent of the 50’s and 60’s , Custom No.9's latest collection 'Nana's atelier' pays homage to the warmth and familiarity of a bygone era, combining vintage charm with a sophisticated modern twist.

The collection introduces eclectic shapes, waves, and scallops in the design, offering a vintage twist to each piece. To add to its playfullness, the furniture is named after yesteryear socialites and fashion photographers; adding a touch of glamour and history to the designs. One of the pieces that caught our eye was the Paley armchair; which has rounded edges and is a perfect addition to your sociable living space.

The color scheme goes beyond conventional neutrals - welcoming warm tones like blush roses, dark sage, leafy greens, and sunrise hues. The chosen fabrics seek to recreate the comfort found in 'grandpa’s jumper,' providing a distinctive tactile sensation and prints. Nana’s Atelier is an homage to days gone by, with each item carefully selected to embody the ambiance of a warm and snug living room at Nana’s house.

Commenting on Nana’s Atelier Collection, Amy Dunford, the founder of Custom No.9 said: “This marks a significant milestone for us, as it has been a year in the making and a full team effort. I am particularly proud of the Paley armchair, with its very unique solid ashwood frame that will offer a very new edge to any space. Another firm favourite is the Daisy series, with the intricate hand-bent wave details. Both series took months of prototyping, and I’m delighted to be able to offer these beautiful pieces to our customers’ homes.”

The pieces are customisable and are available made to order on Custom No.9's website.
