Mira Hills

Mira Hills is a large-scale mixed-use development by Mira Developments in partnership with AD Ports Group, located in Al Mamoura, Abu Dhabi. Spanning approximately 29.7 million sq. ft., the masterplan brings together residential neighbourhoods, commercial districts, and hospitality and leisure facilities, creating a destination for residents and the wider community.

The residential component comprises more than 7,200 apartments and over 1,900 townhouses and villas. This range accommodates different approaches to urban living, from apartments to larger family homes, within a single master-planned environment. Individual residential releases will determine the available layouts, sizes and specifications.

Outdoor recreation is central to the development's plans. An 18-hole championship golf course with a clubhouse, interconnected lagoons, landscaped parks and pedestrian-oriented public spaces form part of the wider vision. The masterplan also incorporates a proposed car-free upper level, giving walking routes and shared outdoor spaces a more prominent role in the layout.

Beyond residential and recreational facilities, Mira Hills is planned to include a major retail mall, hotels, educational institutions, healthcare facilities and cultural attractions. The proposed education provision includes universities, international schools and kindergartens, while healthcare facilities are expected to include a hospital. A planned Museum of the UAE adds a cultural dimension, connecting the destination to the historic 1968 meeting between Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, which helped lay the foundations for the formation of the United Arab Emirates.

The development lies along the corridor connecting Abu Dhabi and Dubai, making its regional position a key part of the proposition. Its planned mix of residential, commercial, educational, and leisure facilities is intended to create a destination with its own range of daily amenities, rather than a neighbourhood that primarily depends on surrounding districts.
