Villa Allegra was developed with modern and contemporary sensibilities in mind. Situated on one of the most prized fronds on the Palm Jumeirah, the villa provides ample space for entertaining across different spaces. The clean design lines with excellent use of a neutral color palette and plush furnishing makes it a remarkable family abode.
Owner: Villa Allegra was given its name, which means "happy" and "lively" in Italian, to perfectly capture its essence. When we first started to develop the house, I envisioned a residence that exuded a modern and contemporary ambiance while boasting a multitude of top-tier amenities. The development of the home was done via Innovate Living and took two years to finish with the best materials one can find on the market. Every aspect of the villa was meticulously crafted to achieve a state-of-the-art living experience.
The exterior of Villa Allegra showcases an exquisite combination of grey marquina marble and imported grey tiles from Spain, creating a seamless color scheme throughout the property. Attention to detail was paramount, extending even to the driveway to maintain a consistent design language. Inside the villa, you'll find premium furniture from renowned brands such as Minotti, Giorgetti, and Paola Lenti, while the lighting fixtures are sourced from Henge, Viabizzuno & qbo.
As you enter the villa on the ground floor, you have a double-height formal living room with a Yamaha baby grand piano, flowing out to a formal dining area, complete with fireplace. There is a private office adjoining the living space that has controlled access, and the ground level also includes both a wet and dry Poliform kitchen with Gaggenau appliances and Quokker tap as well as a coffee machine along with a family lounge. Access to different areas of the villa can be effortlessly achieved through the staircase or the panoramic elevator.
The first floor boasts three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a fully equipped Technogym workout space, and a private spa featuring a massage room, rain shower, Jacuzzi, and sauna. Ascending to the second floor, you'll discover an outdoor entertainment area with a bar, along with a grand master bedroom suite. This opulent suite boasts expansive "his and hers" walk-in Poliform wardrobes, and a separate shoe closet.
Descending into the basement reveals a hidden treasure trove of unique amenities. Here, you'll find a cinema room equipped with Bowers & Wilkins speakers, a pool table, and a private menagerie housing turtles and ducks, offering a delightful view of the pool on the upper level. The basement also features a dedicated car park with a lift to the ground floor, as well as ample staff accommodation.
Outside, the expertly designed exterior invites you to indulge in a sunken seating area with a cozy fireplace, a BBQ and summer kitchen complete with a BBQ oven, a comfortable lounge area, a 10-seater dining space, and an infinity swimming pool with a retractable flat-screen TV, providing endless entertainment possibilities.
One of my favourite spaces in the home is the kitchen and the family room next to it. It’s very rare to have a proper restaurant kitchen in a Palm home, but because I love food, I wanted to make sure this was incorporated. It has top-end equipment that restaurants to the likes of Zuma use. Creating a wide and open space without obtrusive columns posed a significant challenge during the design and execution process. However, through meticulous planning and attention to detail, we successfully achieved the desired open-plan concept throughout the villa, allowing for an expansive and unobstructed living environment.
