The bespoke villas of Emirates Hills make it the jewel in Emaar’s crown. The luxurious and exclusive community continues to live up to its reputation as the Beverly Hills of Dubai. With all the facilities at hand, you would be hard-pressed to find a better place to raise a family. Here, Luxhabitat has put together a guide to the top five schools and nurseries in the area.
One of the few schools in the city to be rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), Dubai International Academy excels in every department. The school follows the International Baccalaureate (IB) system, and students consistently show some of the best results in the region. Besides the school’s covetable rating, it also boasts excellent facilities and a student-teach ratio of 1:13 ensuring attention and care for every child. Dubai International Academy is a step away from Emirates Hills on First Al Khail Street.

The popular Dubai British School is rated ‘Very Good’ by the KHDA and follows the English National Curriculum. Students have shown great GCSE results, and the staff and curriculum have achieved nothing less than ‘Very Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ ratings. Dubai British School also has a range of extra-curriculars and the facilities to go with them. The school is located near the Town Centre in The Springs , Emirates Hills.

Emirates International School Meadows is another IB curriculum school. It is rated ‘Good’ by the KHDA, and offers great facilities, on par with other schools in the Emirates Hills area. With a teacher-student ratio of 1:11, as per the most recent KHDA report, students get time and attention from supportive and knowledgeable teachers. Emirates International School Meadows is close to the Meadows Town Centre in Emirates Hills.

The Jebel Ali Village Nursery group is a well-reputed and established name with six locations in Dubai. They follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and offer flexible hours for busy parents. Children stay engaged and stimulated with a host of activities and access to great facilities, with a balance of indoor and outdoor time. Jebel Ali Village Nursery has two locations in the Emirates Hill area: The Lakes Club house and the Meadows Village Community Club.
