Located on the manmade island of Palm Jumeirah, Atlantis is a themed luxury hotel based on the underwater lost city of Atlantis. It opened its gates for guests for the first time on 24th September 2008. Majestic in size, Atlantis offers as many as 1,539 rooms and suites that are designed for absolute comfort and luxury.

The hotel has two accommodation wings, the East and the West Tower, that are linked together by the Royal Bridge Suite.

Dolphin Bay

One of the most sophisticated dolphin habitats in the world, Dolphin Bay in Atlantis complements its guests with a wide range of dolphin experiences that are suitable for all ages and swimming abilities.

The interactions on offer include standing in shallow water, swimming and scuba diving with the dolphins. 

Lost Chamber Aquarium

The Lost Chamber Aquarium features the ancient ruins of the lost city of Atlantis that was lost for thousands of years beneath the sea. It is a unique natural habitat to as many as 65,000 marine animals. 

The different types of activities that The Lost Chamber offers include Aquatrek and Snorkel, where the guests can gaze upon the ancient ruins of Atlantis as they snorkel or walk through the breathtaking Ambassador Lagoon.

It also features 'The Fish Tale' Tour where one can explore the labyrinths and learn about the myth and marine life of the ancient lost city of Atlantis. The 'Behind the Scenes' Tour provides the visitors with a dynamic and interactive opportunity to experience a day in the life of an expert at The Lost Chambers Aquarium. Visitors can also learn about how the experts ensure the health and safety of the marine animals in the Fish Hospital and Nursery. 

However, the experience that surpasses all others is the Atlantis Aquarium Dives that enable the guests to take a plunge and scuba dive amidst the ruins of Atlantis and also experience the majesty and splendour of the Ambassador Lagoon. The experience is designed specifically for non-certified divers, where one can learn basic diving skills and meet the sharks, napoleon wrasse, colourful angelfish and butterflies amidst the ruins of Atlantis.

Aquaventure

Atlantis hosts one of the best water parks in the Middle East called the Aquaventure, which covers an area of 17-hectares. The park features extraordinary rides with cascades, tidal waves and rapids. It also has a 2.3-kilometre river ride with tidal waves and pools, water rapids and white water chargers, that takes an impressive 45-minutes to float around the park. Other highlights of Aquaventure include a 9-story tall mega slide, called the Leap of Faith.

Aquaventure is also the only water park in the Middle East to offer Marine Animal Experiences that include Shark Safari, a delightful walk on the bottom of the Shark Lagoon and Cownose Ray Feeding, in the water interacting and feeding the hungry rays.

Being a true culinary destination, Atlantis hosts some of the best restaurants in Dubai. It is home to as many as 23 restaurants and also some of the best chefs from around the world. 

It features two award-winning restaurants, Nobu and Ossiano along with celebrity restaurants like Bread Street Kitchen & Bar and Ronda Locatelli. The buffet restaurants on offer include Saffron and Kaleidoscope.
