The Walk in Jumeirah Beach Residence

Accessible by two tram stations, The Walk in Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) encompasses the entire community. This beachside strip is built by master developer Meraas and has a great selection of restaurants, retail, workout studios, as well as Roxy Cinemas. 

Located on the walk is a nice muscle beach to help fuel your workouts. These equipments are free to use and are located on the beach. The Walk during the winters is full of people enjoying the cooler weather and attending pop-up markets. 

Roxy Cinema

A cinema concept by Meraas, Roxy Cinemas has some of the best facilities a cinema can offer you in Dubai, with plush seats and a variety of snack options. This cinema also participates in the erstwhile annual Dubai International Film Festival, with films being shown in the cool December air on the beach. You can view the movie listings here.

Warehouse Gym

If you prefer an urban gym with a raw feel as well as great lighting and style as well as calorie-torching workouts, then head to Warehouse Gym located on The Walk. The gym is open 24 hours, so feel free to drop in at any time to get your workout in.

Restaurants, bars & cafes

1. Leopold's Of London

Perfect for those who enjoy a lovely dose of tea and time spent overlooking the beach, Leopold's of London does amazing breakfasts! The tea library holds an extensive 70 types of tea. They also have excellent coffee on offer.

Timings: 7am to 11pm

2. Ramusake

Located at the Double Tree by Hilton in JBR, Ramusake is a London-import with delicious fusion-style Japanese food in an izakaya style. Try the amazing cheese and truffle gyozas and the Japanese-style hot dogs. The terrace is a lovely place to unwind in the evenings with sundowners.

3. Copper Dog

A favorite Brit-style watering hole, Copper Dog is a firm favorite amongst locals. Also located in the Double Tree by Hilton in JBR, it has a very cozy vibe where you can enjoy a traditional roast or their charming brunch with live music.

Timings: 5pm to 2am

4. Bombay Bungalow

This lovely Indian restaurant has a lovely ambiance, similar to an old Rajasthani haveli. Indulge in the burrata butter chicken, specially curated menus and more.

Timings: 12 pm to 11.30 pm

5. Blaze Burgers

A Bahraini-burger import, this fast food joint has an extensive burger list and is extremely popular amongst locals. Try their '6abooga'(pronounced Ta-booga) burger, a burger that bridges both a grilled cheese and a beef burger.

Timings: 12 noon to 2am
