Believed to have been made by Andrew Dickson, this exceptional Andrew Dickson long-nosed putter was displayed at the esteemed Glasgow international exhibition which is known for depicting Scottish antiques. This golf club was verified as one of the oldest in the world and was sold in an auction for USD 181,000 by Sotheby's.

2. Simon Cossar Fruitwood Metal Headed Putter - USD 165,000

Made by Cossar Club Company, one of the oldest companies that make golf clubs, the Simon Cossar Fruitwood Metal Headed Putter is the second most expensive golf club in the world after Andrew Dickson. It is made up of a metal headed blade putter. In order to pay honour to this club, it was sold in an auction for USD 165,000.

3. Square Toe Light Iron Golf Club - USD 151,000

The Square Toe Light Iron Golf Club is the third most expensive golf club in the world and is made of light iron. It is among the few one dozen clubs which were made in the 17th century and is still available to date.  The club was set to be sold in auction at an estimated price of USD 151,000.

4. Golden Putter First Lady Special Edition - USD 150,000

The shaft of this golf club was made of a 5-micrometre thick coating of 24-carat gold and is made of cherry wood and features diamond embellishments. It costs USD 150,000 but a version of it without the diamond embellishment costs 50 times lesser. 

5. Long Nosed Scarped Golf Club - USD 91,000

This golf club was billed as a long nosed scraper. It was old and was dated to the 18th century, but was sold in very good condition. This club was sold at the Sotheby's auction for USD 91,000.

6. A.G. Spalding & Brothers Palmer Patent Fork Shaft Wood - USD 49,000

Spalding is a renowned name in the world of sports and have created their niche in various sports like basketball, volleyball, soccer, softball, among others. The golf club of Palmer Patent Fork Shaft Wood belongs to their antique collection and was sold for USD 49,000 at the Sotheby's auction for USD 49,000.

7. Honma Five Star Golf Clubs - USD 32,000

The Five Star Golf Clubs are the most expensive golf clubs that Honma, the Japanese Golf Club manufacturer has on offer. Many celebrities in the US use the brand. The 14 pieces of Golf Clubs that are available are made of platinum and gold and costs USD 32,000 each.

8. Titleist Scotty Cameron Tiger Woods Stainless Masters Winner Limited Edition - USD 20,000

The limited edition golf clubs were designed by Scotty Cameron. Only 21 units of this club were made and are priced at  USD 20,000 each. They are similar to the clubs that were used by Tiger Woods in one of his Master's victories.

9. Adams Golf Tight Lies Spin Control - USD 8,500

The golf club of Adams Golf Tight Lies Spin Control is a customised one. It was based in Plano Texas and was originally Preceptor Golf but was bought by Barney Adams in 1988. It costs USD 8,500.

10. Maruman Majesty Prestigio Driver - USD 2,000

The golf club of Maruman features a fullerene titanium head. It also has a light shaft and tungsten, which makes it expensive. The price of the club is USD 2,000. Maruman was the major sponsor of Japanese PGA tour in the 90s.
