An exciting 'Race to Dubai' finish is scheduled between Thursday, the 20th to Sunday, the 22nd of November 2015. As the final tournament of the European Tour, the top 60 players compete to win the title after a season-long competition that spans over 48 tournaments in a multitude of 26 destinations. The close of the tournament is held in Dubai, with the top 60 golfers around the world competing. With big winning stakes on play, last year's winner was Henrik Stenson, who took away the $8 million prize fund in addition to a $5 million bonus pool. The DP World Tour Championship winner receives $1.33million and the Race to Dubai winner receives $1million. All eyes are on 2015 Omega Desert Classic winner Rory McIlroy as a contender for this year's championship.
The event takes place on the 72 Par Greg Norman designed Earth course at Jumeirah Golf Estates. In 2014, there were over 55,000 UAE residents and international attendees for the event.
