Looking for the right school or nursery for your child in the area? Here are our top schools & nurseries in and around Arabian Ranches.

Schools

1. Jumeirah English Speaking School

One of the most coveted schools in Arabian Ranches. Offering the closest proximity, JESS is also one of the hardest schools to get into, with long waiting lists. It has an 'Outstanding' rating from the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) and costs an average of AED 62,000 per year. The school operates a 'debenture' system, which accepts corporate and personal sponsorships. The personal sponsorships are worth AED 20,000, refundable when your child leaves the school. The corporate sponsorship is used to make the school run long-term. A lot of parents move to the Arabian Ranches in order for their children to attend this school and have an easy commute. They also choose to rent a villa instead.

The curriculum is British until Key Stage 4.  The  National Curriculum of England and Wales follow that, and subsequently the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) in Years 12 and 13.

2. Ranches Primary School

A progressive school; Ranches Primary School is recommended and supported by Emaar, the master developer behind Arabian Ranches. The class sizes are small, so you can be ensured that your child will receive personalised attention; there is a focus given to STEM streams, which means the school is progressive. The school is under British curriculum. 

3. Nord Anglia International School

Costing an average of AED 60,000 per year, the North Anglia International School offers a British curriculum until year 11, after which it offers the IB diploma. The KHDA ranked this school as 'good'. Focus is given to students of music due to its association with Juillard. Check the details at nordangliaeducation.com.

4. Gems World Academy

Under the popular school brand, GEMS World Academy's focus is on IB. The school is known for its world class facilities which include a 50m Olympic sized covered swimming pool,  skateboarding park, fjunior gym, indoor rock climbing wall, symphony center,  fully equipped music recording studio, planetariusm and a peace garden.. Nurseries

1. Raffles Nursery Arabian Ranches

Located within the Al Saheel community at Arabian Ranches, this nursery accepts children between the ages of 2 and 4. They use an Early Years Foundation Stage Programme.

2. Jebel Ali Village Nursery

One of the most popular nurseries around, the children can enjoy their time playing with the flora, fauna and horses under supervised care. This daycare accepts kids as young as 6 weeks old to 4 years old.
