The Jumeirah Beach Residences (JBR) have a wide variety of schools and nurseries to choose from in the area. Parents and students can choose from schools offering local and international curriculum in the classroom. Being a resident at JBR is an excellent way to ensure your child has easy access to all of these top-notch educational institutions. 

1. Jebel Ali Village Nursery

Jebel Ali Village Nursery  is an excellent place for children in their formative years. The nursery caters to children between the ages of just 4 months to 4 years old. It has 13 bright and spacious,  purpose-built classrooms, as well as an indoor music room, a soft play room and a sensory room to keep young children engaged. They maintain age appropriate  designated outdoor areas for children to encourage development and growth. 

Fees for this nursery vary between AED 2,000 to AED 11,500 per term depending on the timings and number of days selected.

2. Monroe's Nursery

Monroe's Nursery takes a holistic approach to learning. This nursery maintains a weekly timetable for each child which will be emailed to the parents. 3. Family and friends Nursery

Family and Friends Nursery is small and intimate with qualified staff. The nursery makes it a priority to help their children develop qualities such as being kind, respectful, confident, enthusiasm and confidence. The have received positive reviews on their website for being a warm and friendly place where the educational standards are on par with the teaching in the UK. 

The fees for this nursery are divided on the basis of three categories depending on the childs age. These fee categories are babies, toddler and foundation fees which can be found on their fees page.  They are open five days a week from Sunday to Thursday from 7 am to 6 pm.

4. Toddler town British Nursery

Toddler Town British Nursery maintains the Early years foundation stage (EYFS) framework for its curriculum. The timings for the nursery are 7:30 am to 8:30 am for the breakfast club. The afternoon club runs from 1 pm to 3 pm OR 1 pm to 5:30 pm/6 pm, and the afternoon nursery runs from 2 pm to 5:30 pm. Fees vary from AED 4,950 to AED 11,500 depending on the choice of programme that has been selected for that term.

5. GEMS Jumeirah Primary School

GEMS Jumeirah Primary School has around 1,400 students and takes pride in having them come from all over the world. They follow the National Curriculum for England from Foundation Stage 1 to Year 6. The fee structure for this schools ranges between AED 38,202 to AED 50, 466. The school follows the system of preparing its students to become proactive members of a global community.

6. Dubai British School Jumeirah Park


Dubai British School Jumeirah Park is a diverse and exciting place to study in due to the range of extra-curricular activities that are available. The school is unique in many ways, as it has been designed to the highest specifications with the 21st-century learning needs of students in mind. As of now the Dubai British School Jumeirah Park only offer admissions for students from Year 1 to Year 9 and will be opening higher year groups from 2018/2019 onwards.
